Home-made organic Hummus

BLOGPOST Don’t be too harsh on yourself when you are quarantined. For it is the very time to turn to your inner self, the one that was overstressed and buried under a trillion tasks that would never end. Nature has spoken, we all are stranded at home, for the sake of the world. I know it sounds quite dramatic but we have reached the climax of globalization, and we definitely have our share of the same suffering throughout the globe. But instead of resenting nature or/and the situation, you can start a conversation with it.

The Cherryship has come up with a few natural tricks, whether it is located in the beauty sector or in the wellness department. Let’s start with a happy belly.

Here is the simplest recipe everyone can pull off in no time: a Home-made organic Hummous.


  • 1.5 cups cooked chickpeas (organic)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 Table spoon olive oil
  • 1TS peanut butter (i.e Fairtrade Erdnussmuss)
  • 1TS Turmeric
  • 1/2 Lime juice
  • 1/2 Cup of SoyMilk
  • 1/2 cup of Water
  • salt, pepper

Adjust at will.
Blend all the elements together until you reach a mashed texture.
You can garnish and adjust your hummus at will:
Paprika, curry, avocado, seeds,…
Serve with wholemeal bread, or sprinkles for a slight feisty touch.
